The XC course has been designed to offer top end cross-country schooling opportunities for BE Novice - Advanced combinations. It has been expertly laid out with a brilliant variety of options to join fences and combinations. High traffic areas have been underlaid with all-weather rubber matting and many of the jumps have hard standing on take-off and landing. The facility is maintained to a high standard and the ground kept in optimum condition for high performance training. The course boasts over 70 different obstacles including two water jumps, ditches, banks, arrowheads, apexes, owl howls and ditch brushes. Where possible, jumps are fitted with MIM clips, allowing them to fall on impact and reducing the chance of serious injury.

Straightforward access directly to the cross-country course and ample adjoining parking enables visitors to maximise time and energy on what matters.

Once parked, visitors can take advantage of the 65m x 35m surfaced warm up arena with portable fences for practising lines and warming up.

Overlooking the cross-country course is a cosy club-house which visitors are welcome to occupy during their visit. It is a comfortable place to shelter from the weather and enjoy a cup of tea during a training session. It has a direct view of the cross-country course and a roof-terrace for observation.

Cross Country bookings are available for combinations competing at BE Novice level and above. Sessions can be booked online on a per horse basis. Spaces are limited to 6 horses over a 3 hour time slot to ensure your enhanced experience on the course
